Do something special before the 14th to show her that you are thinking about that day. This will make her feel appreciated and special which will create a good experience for her during the days leading up to the holiday. There are many practical ideas that will make her feel special.
Write a note or get her a card that you give her before Valentine's Day. Express that you love her and can't wait for that day to be with her. Tell her that you wouldn't want to spend that special day with anyone else but her. Let her know that you appreciate that she is in your life.
Send her a small version of the gift that you might be getting her. This could be a obscure and mysterious like a hint at what could be. This gift or clue will make her mind wonder about the possibilities. It could also be practical like a flower that she might see in a bouquet or something else that's simple.
During texts, emails, and phone calls be sure to hint at Valentine's Day and it being special. This will make her feel secure and that you are not stereotypically forgetting about this big day of the year. Since she knows you have already mentioned it, she will feel that you have done some preparation making her already feel special without having to bring it up herself.
What this does is build anticipation and makes her feel like she is desired. A woman will appreciate knowing that you are going out of your way to make her feel special before the 14th. She won't feel that you are going through the motions because you have to or because of obligation but are really putting in extra effort to make sure she feels important and cared for.
Start today to think of a few things that could be done for her. Come up with a few ideas that you can do during the days leading up to Valentine's Day.
