The best time to make this powder would be during the waxing moon or the full moon. If that's not possible then try to do it on a Sunday or Wednesday. If you should need it right away then go ahead and make it whenever you can. Healing spells can be more effective it made during the right moon phase or on the correct day but they will still work effectively if made at any other time.
Mix together the herbs in your mortar and pestle. Add
1/2 c lavender
1 tbsp peppermint
2 tbsp bay
6 drops tea tree oil
2 drops apple cider
After mixing the herbs grind them as much as possible making a fine powder. While you're mixing you need to think about your intent and the purpose of making the powder. Imagine the person being healthy and happy. You can do a chant to raise energy at this point if you feel the need to. When you're finished store the powder in an air tight bottle or container.
To use the powder sprinkle it lightly in the corners of the room where the sick person sleeps. Every day vacuum it up and replace with more. Each time you sprinkle the herb chant
Cleanse the Soul,
Cleanse the Heart,
Cleanse the Body,
All ill Depart.
Continue this routine daily until the until the person gets well. The powder helps to absorb the illness and speed up the healing process. You can also sprinkle the powder on your altar while doing healing spells or healing magick.
Do not use the powder for anyone other than the person you made it for. You can however label the leftover powder with the persons name and store it for up to one year to reuse if they should get again. You can use your own choice of herbs for this powder but keep one thing in mind. Some herbs might be a resin or a have a residue on them which could stain your carpet. The ones I mentioned will not hurt your carpet but make sure you look up your own herbs if you want to change the mixture a bit.
