First of all you need to know your body and be honest because the mirror never lies. The mirror is your friend. I'll use my body and shape as an example. I am a 5 foot short very curvaceous, full figured woman. My main trouble spots are my stomach, waistline, and thighs. My stomach is not exactly flat, my waistline is not exactly slim, and my thighs are not exactly smooth. But over all I have a very nice shape. My chest size is about a C, D cup, and I have a very round buttocks that fit my hips. So I have to dress to my shape. Because my stomach and waistline are unstable I have to make sure I wear close that disguise them and not reveal them. For example today I wore a 1 piece Jean dress. Very fitted, therefore it showed every curve. My stomach looked as though there was a little pooch and around my waist was a little roll. So I had to cover that up. So to flatten my stomach I wore really fitted under wear that also helped slim out my waistline. The underwear have to be pulled up above your belly button if not it will look like you have two stomach's. Then I used a pair of my panty hose that have a control top and I cut out the leg part and wore the control top half over my under wear. So it helped make my stomach look a little flatter and my waistline a little slimmer. Trust me its more comfortable that wearing a girdle. Sometimes girdles tend to help the waistline and stomach but it flattens the buttock. The Underwear and control top is very thin material. So now I still notice that my waistline still looks like it has a little bulge. So I find a belt a nice medium size and I fit it around my waist not too tight because you don't want the double stomach look. Just enough to help bring the waistline in. By the time I was done I had a very nice hourglass looking figure and my body looked well proportioned.
Another tip if your short like me with wide hips and round buttocks wear heels especially if you're wearing a skirt to the knee. It helps lift up the body weight, and brings more attention to your calf's and thigh area. Now speaking of thighs. If you have a lot of cellulite please do not wear skirts above the knees. If you do make sure you wear pantyhose to help smooth out some of the lumps. Never ever wear white spandex or anything that clings, where cellulite is present, that's like wearing a transparent skirt. People will be able to see every lump, and bump, and they will be able to see it move, because cellulite does jiggle. These are just a few tips that I myself follow on a regular basis and it works. These tips will boost your confidence and make you more attractive and noticeable.
Must Have!!!!
Underwear that is fitted and big enough to wear above the belly button.
Control top panty holes to help reduce the stomach and waistline.
Belts. Fashionable or regular belts that can help disguise the waistline.
Diet. I recommend the grapefruit diet. It's a more you eat more you loose plan. I live by it!
Exercise. Walking is the easiest and is very effective.
