How to Hide the Music Player on Myspace

C. Moss
The wonderful world of Myspace has tons of interesting features that might of to your liking. I personally have tried to at least test out all of them when I first signed up. It took more time figuring out my layout page then it did to learn a few basic tricks. Adding music to your page can be frustrating and fun at the same time. However, I've noticed when you click on a profile that sometimes it doesn't load right away.

Or when you wait to hear music you have to scroll down a bit so the player is in view. And even that can take time for it to load correctly. For me, this is an aggravating issue. It slows everything down and it's annoying. However, this article in particular will hopefully get rid of that problem completely. Let's begin.

The first step is of course signing into your account. The next page you are greeted with is the main function page that contains all of your options. This includes your network, profile views, and last login on the left side of your page. Now on the right side you have your user name along with your url and account settings. This is where you need to be. Find Edit Profile and click it. You should now be on the page entitled 'Interests and Personality'. You need to scroll down a bit to view your 'About Me' section completely.

Now leave this site up and open a new window in your browser. Now go to myspacegens.com. This an incredibly vivid site that has many other features that you will most likely enjoy and use for your Myspace experience. On the main page of myspacegens.com, there are a list of categories on the left hand side of the page. At the very top it says 'Myspace Generators'. You need to scroll down until you see the next list under the title 'Myspace Tutorials'. That's where you need to be.

As you read down the list, you will eventually come to 'Hide Your Music Player'. So click that one. Scroll down until you have reached an html box in the middle of the page. Highlight everything in that box and then right click it and press copy. Or you can click inside the box, right click and then choose 'Select All' and then 'Copy'. After you do that, minimize this page and go back to your MySpace 'Interest & Personality'. You can simply right click in your 'About Me' section and click 'Paste' to get the job done.

You can hit preview section or profile to check to see if it works. When you're done checking, go back to the edit page. After your success, all you have to do is make sure you click 'Save All Changes' at the top of your 'Interests &Personality' page and immediately at the top of the page it should say 'Profile Updated'. After that click 'Home' at the top of the page to go to your profile. And the job is done. If you want, there are many other websites like myspacegens.com that will offer you the same help.
