How to Hide Videos and Images on Your IPod Touch or IPad

Tom Norton
There are many reasons for wanting to hide your pictures and videos on your iPod Touch or iPad. Maybe you have some movies on your device that you don't want any youngters to watch, or you just feel like some of your video and image captures are your own business. Either way, it doesn't matter, because the media you have on your iPod or iPad IS your business and nobody elses. Fortunately, there is an app in the app store that does just that, and it does a very good job.

The app that you want to download from the app store is called Video Safe. This app isn't free, but depending on how interested you are in hiding your videos and pictures on your iPod or iPad, it could be well worth the small fee. Once installed, you can set up a pin number which you will be prompted to type in every time you wish to view your protected media. Within the app, you can set up and name multiple folders to help you keep your different pictures and video organized.

Even if you aren't interested in hiding anything with the app, you might still want the app so that you can take advatage of its alternative method of loading videos and pictures onto your iPod or iPad. The app provides two options for uploading data which you will need to use in order to move the pictures and video into the app and password-protect them. You can either use an ftp-style upload, or you can opt for the "web access" method. The app's website has more details on how to use these features if you have problems figuring them out on your own.

In my opinion, this app is the best app in the app store for hiding or password-protecting your pictures and videos on your iPod or iPad.
