If you can obtain these multipliers by creating long strings of matching gems, you can find them on your board. Once you get to a 4 or 5 times multiplier, it is easy to get a high score in Bejeweled Blitz.

3. Make sure to continue the speed bonus to get a pretty high score in Bejeweled Blitz. This may seem tough to the newbies at Bejeweled Blitz, but once you have played a few hours on this Facebook application, you will soon realize how important this is. After you have maxed your speed bonus, each match will be worth 1000 points times whatever your multiplier is. In order to get a high score in Bejeweled Blitz, you must make sure to continue your speed bonus by constantly finding matches without a break.

4. In order to obtain a high score in Bejeweled Blitz, you must never make a move without knowing what your next one will be. If you can master this, you will certainly start getting high scores in Bejeweled Blitz. Once you have mastered this step, it will help you maintain your speed bonus by not ever getting caught looking too long for the next match.

5. Though I don't think this is as important as many others do, getting matches of 4 or 5 gems create special gems instead of simply disappearing. If you make a match of 4 gems it will create a gem that, if matched, will destroy all gems in its surrounding area. If you create a match of 5 gems, a hyper gem will appear that will destroy any gem of the color that you swap it with.
