How to Make Your Home like Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom

Susan Brown

Khloe Kardashian married Lamar Odom and put together (no doubt with the help of many paid people) a beautiful home that features dark browns and other lush colors to create a warm and inviting place for their large family to come visit... often!

No doubt, you too have seen these nice little glimpses into their beautiful home perhaps by watching the popular reality TV show called Keeping Up with the Kardashians that features the grown girls Khloe, Kim, and Kourtney in their day to day lives that revolve around the entertainment industry. These little glimpses into the newly married Khloe's home make many of us quite envious... but that doesn't have to be so! You can duplicate much of that charm that Khloe has put together.

The famous home has also been featured in places like www.CasaSugar.com with the focus being on Khloe's gorgeous office space. You, too, probably remember those glimpses during the TV reality show of Khloe sitting at her desk, with all those pretty framed pictures all around the room and pretty decorative accents. The room is really rather glamorous, despite the dark colors chosen throughout much of it. Crystal and glass accents make it this way, including that pretty chandelier.

You can see Khloe's personality come out throughout much of the house, especially in all those framed pictures. The detailed frames add much personality to the home, as do all the purple accents that Khloe seems to love that she also seemed to favor using in her wedding (you remember the pretty lavender sash she wore around her waist when wearing her wedding gown, and the different shades of purple and lavender her sisters wore as bridesmaids on that special day).

Another thing that really adds interest and much personality to Khloe's home is all the memorabilia based on her husband's life and career. She seems proud of her hubby and isn't afraid to show it, with pictures of many of his special moments even in her own office. You can tell she loves that man and all his accomplishments!

Another pretty area of interest is Khloe's master bedroom. Those dark accents (dark colored wood, dark colored walls) are again being used, but she balances it perfectly and adds romantic appeal to it by using white or off white (like with the bedspread and carpeting), and again adds her personal touches and memorabilia to a room. A house isn't a home without pictures of people you love!

And who can forget the gorgeous kitchen, made with that dark wood. All that dark wood and dark paint around the house really bring the whole house together with romantic consistency and charm!
