How to Make Homemade Anti-Acne Facial Cream

These days you would be hard pressed to miss the commercials for the latest and greatest anti-acne facial creams nearly every time you turn on your television. Unfortunately you have probably also noticed that these creams cost in excess of twenty dollars for a miniscule amount. If you want one of these creams, without breaking the bank, then try this method for making your own homemade anti-acne facial cream.

First you will need to assemble just a few simple ingredients that you more than likely already have around your home:

Aspirin which provides you with salicylic acid that is the key active ingredient in many expensive acne fighting creams and facial masks. It also provides the great benefit of exfoliation. To avoid having to shave off the coating to properly dissolve these tablets make sure it is an uncoated aspirin.

Tap water is needed to bring it all together. Hopefully you have access to some of this elusive ingredient, if not I'm sure you can come up with a way to acquire some.

Honey is the final important ingredient here, for best results use a fresher honey or at least an unrefrigerated one as this will allow it to spread better over your face.

To begin mixing your ingredients for your do-it-yourself anti-acne facial cream first take four to five tablets of your aspirin and put them in a mixing bowl. You will now want to take about a teaspoon of your tap water and put it in the bowl, this is to help dissolve the aspirin and allow it to be dispersed evenly throughout your mask and, thus, on your face. You will also want to use a spoon to break up the pills slightly in order to insure all are dissolved.

Finally you will want to take approximately one tablespoon of your honey and apply it to your mixture. Use your already dirtied spoon to thoroughly mix all of this solution together. The honey will help to bind your aspirin solution together and spread it on your face. It provides excellent skin benefits as well with a moisturizing affect.

Your homemade anti-acne facial mask is now complete; simply spread it across your face while massaging it into your skin. You will want to let it sit for around fifteen minutes and remove it by washing your face with warm to hot water as desired. This provides great benefits to your skin, helps to fight acne and will leave you feeling great.
