Now the ingredients needed to make my cinnamon blueberry jam are 3 cups of cinnamon sugar, 4 cups of blueberries, 1 cup of water, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Then all you need to do is toss all these ingredients into a large sauce pan and place the sauce pan with all the ingredients in it onto the stove on medium heat for two hours or until the ingredients start to thicken. However, you want to be careful and not allow the jam to thicken up all the way because you want the jam to be easy to pour into a plastic container or glass jar after you are done making the cinnamon blueberry jam. Once you have the blueberry jam in a container or jar you should leave the jam out on the container for three hours so it can cool and thicken into a jam like texture. Then after your jam has cooled and thickened you can place it in the refrigerator to keep it cool and fresh tasting.
The best foods to use this homemade cinnamon blueberry jam on would be English muffins, French toast, toast, pancakes, muffins, bagels, waffles, donuts, and crackers. You can even you this jam when you are making jelly cookies or rolls that require jam. You will notice that the homemade cinnamon blueberry jam you made has a nice sweet and tart taste with a simple cinnamon spice taste when you eat it on top of the types of foods I have just mentioned above. I know those of you who make this jam and try it will absolutely love it and so will your family and friends.
Now you are probably wondering where you can get the ingredients for this homemade cinnamon blueberry jam, and I think the best place to get some of the ingredients such as sugar and cinnamon is your local grocery store or health food store. The best place to by the blueberries and lemon juice would be a local farm stand because they have the freshest fruits and berries, but if you can't find them in season you can purchase lemon juice and blueberries from your local grocery stores. However, I believe the best cinnamon blueberry jams taste the best when made with the freshest ingredients possible.
I hope all of you will enjoy this very simple cinnamon blueberry jam recipe and will love the way it taste when it comes out. I know I sure do and will continue to make it every year when it is blueberry season. Enjoy your homemade cinnamon blueberry jams!
