The first homemade coaster design is simple, and if you like some refreshing canned juice totally free. When you are done with your can of juice take the cap and wash it out. When finished you have a nice smooth piece of aluminum the perfect size for most glasses, cans and bottles. From here decoration can be completed in any manner you desire. If you run a young sort of 'party/bachelor pad' then some stickers from your favorite brands go over very well. For the family home letting your children design their own - think permanent markers, glue and glitter, etc. - adds a great personal touch to your new coasters. This design is so simple you're now all done.
The next design for how to make homemade coasters for your drinks may take a slight amount more work to get going properly. This design is my personal favorite and looks good with many different styles of home furnishing. The first thing that you will need to do is to find and press flowers and plants that appeal to you. Now buy some contact paper, or sheets for laminating. Find a picture of photograph that is especially appealing to you and place it in the center, you can make these any shape you wish but I usually go with a slightly oversized circle. Around the edges of the picture add your pressed flowers or plants in a pattern that suits your taste. Apply the top sheet and press them together, although a very thin coaster you now have a great homemade coaster with your personal touch that will help to protect your furniture from the condensation caused by your drinks.
Hopefully at least one of the designs for homemade coasters for your drinks has appealed to you and will allow you to not only have the most inexpensive coasters around but also the most personalized ones. Remember creativity is the order of the day here, personalize these any way you see fit and as always be sure to add plenty of different and unique twists to your new homemade coasters.
