Ever notice that no matter how much money you spend on conditioner for your hair, your hair still doesn't seem that shiny or healthy? And for the price of some of the higher end hair conditioners, you could buy dinner at a restaurant. Ever think that maybe you could make your own hair conditioner that might work as well or even better that those expensive store-bought products? You can make conditioners yourself that don't contain harsh products and will be much easier on your hair and your budget. The ingredients are all natural. Following are 3 such homemade hair conditioner recipes that are basic, simple and work well.

Recipe #1:

Ingredients:

Juice from 1 lemon (adds shine)

1 mashed banana (helps restore moisture)

3 tablespoons of coconut oil (helps restore moisture)

3 tablespoons of yogurt (controls dry scalp)

1 egg white

In a bowl, mix all ingredients well. Wash your hair as you normally would. Apply the conditioner and allow to remain on your hair for 5 minutes. For a more deep conditioning treatment, wrap your hair in a towel and leave the conditioner on for 1/2 an hour. Rinse well with warm water.

Recipe #2:

Ingredients:

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup olive oil

Mix the 2 ingredients together. Wash your hair first. Apply the mixture to your hair and massage in. Rinse very well with warm water. If deeper conditioning is desired, you can apply a shower cap or wrap in a towel and leave the conditioner on for 15 minutes, then rinse well.

Recipe #3:

1 ripe banana

1/4 cup honey

Mash the banana and mix it with the honey. Wash your hair, then apply the banana and honey mixture. Leave on for 5 minutes then rinse well. This homemade hair conditioner also works great as a deep conditioner if you apply it to your hair and then cover hair with a towel and leave on for 15 minutes. Make sure you rinse well.
