After factoring in my Family about 100 names were gone. We did not want to name our child after another Family member and we had a lot of work to do. Settling on Bubba was not going to work, so the research needed to start.
My Family is 100 percent half German and half Russian, but my Father insisted on an Irish name . My Husband just wanted a decent name that was not taken. We both picked our favorites and compared notes, but we disagreed on everything. We kind of just gave up after a while hoping to figure it out after we had the baby. Almost 5 months had passed before we even talked about this anymore.
I was almost 9 months pregnant and had a dream about Brandon. The dream was about my unborn son and that his name was Brandon. I woke the next morning and discussed this with my Husband and that is how we picked the name of our first born. We are very happy with that name and it fits him perfectly.

Post a CommentWhen I had my daughter in 1979%2C I could not for the life of me think of a name that I loved. Every name that I had ever loved in the past%2C I didn%27t like at the time. Two weeks before the daughter was born%2C my mother said %22I had a dream that you had a little girl and you named her Summer%22. I said that%27s it%21 Summer she was on May 25%2C 1979. On February 27th%2C 1981%2C I named my son Brandon. My babies..Summer and Brandon. We lost Brandon in an auto accident 4%2F4%2F2008%2C he was 27 years old. We miss him so very much. Our Guardian Angel has a name and it is Brandon.
