How Do You Measure Success?
Some people measure success by the amount of money they have in their bank account and what they can buy. To them, success is all about the material world. Their philosophy of life is; he who dies with the most toys, wins. They imagine success as having limousines and sports cars to use as they please. Material items are the purpose of their goals.
Success
To other people, success is more than just material things. They measure success by what they can give to the world and how they can help others.
What Success Looks Like For You
The first thing you have to do, is determine what success looks like for you. Is your success based on inner qualities? Does having your kind of success require special knowledge? What are the steps that you would have to take to be a success in your eyes?

The answers to these questions will be different for everyone because we're all individuals and everybody is different.
For some people, success is a mixture between the two types described above.
How You Imagine Success
However you determine success will affect how you imagine success. When we have an image in our heads of what success is, that's our reference point for acceptance of success. If, we somehow feel that we're inferior and not deserving of success; then we will self-sabotage ourselves every time by imagining the worst possible outcome.
Imagine Success
When you imagine success, it's important to stay positive at all times. Just think of whatever you imagine in your head as a magnet attracting that event, image, or item to you. Over time, this builds power and momentum.
Failure Is Required
Any amount of success always requires that a certain amount of failure be experienced. What failure does is show you what to avoid. When you experience failure, you can be happy that you're experiencing one of the required stepping-stones to success.
The First Sign Of Failure
Too many people give up at the first sign of failure. Don't give up when you fail, learn from your mistakes and try again. You keep trying until you succeed; this is how any type of success is gained. Failure is your friend; utilize it to develop your talents.
