1. Download some sample packs. They're available from quite a few places online. I've written an article with some links to a few famous sample packs that you can find here. Download as many sample packs as you want; it's quicker to import everything at one time, so get all of your ducks in a row, so to speak, before importing.
2. Organize your sample packs. If the samples you intend to use in FL Studio 8 aren't already organized into folders or named so that you can figure out which sound is which, go ahead and organize them now; it's easiest to put like drum sounds together, for instance, create a folder for all hi-hat sounds, a folder for all kick drum sounds, etc. If the file names for the samples are confusing, spend a bit of time to clean them up and make them descriptive of the sample. This will make it easier to navigate and find the samples that you want after the importing.
3. Now, open up FL Studio 8. To the right side of your screen is the browser section, this is ultimately where the drum machine samples will be displayed. To import, you simply need to grab the folder containing ALL of your samples (not the individual folders that you'd created for organizational purposes) and drag it into the area with the rest of the samples. It may take FL Studio 8 a minute to import all of the samples, but once it's done, you simply can click the name of the folder you'd imported and it will expand to show you the rest of the folders that you'd created in the second step. You can now right click a sample and hit "Send To Selected Channel" or "Send to New Channel" to begin developing a drum track with your new drum machine samples.
