Tom Servo
Open Financial Exchange (OFX) is a client-server system that enables direct communication between the client and the financial organization's server. OFX files are files that were created within an OFX-developed application. OFX Reader is a program by OFX that is easily integrated with Microsoft Excel. With OFX Reader, you can import OFX files into Microsoft Excel. Once imported, the files will appear as Excel data. OFX files can be imported into active worksheets, new worksheets, new workbooks or the last opened worksheet.

Step 1

Download and install OFX Reader (see Resources).

Step 2

Launch Excel and OFX Reader.

Step 3

Click "Open" on the Pick OFX File tab. Navigate to your file, select it and click "Open."

Step 4

Click on one of the four options for where you want to place the data.

Step 5
