How to Improve Your Bachelor Pad

Bill Hanks
It doesn't matter how smooth you are with the females, if you don't have a nice place, you could strike out with the ladies. No matter the budget you live on, a few minor changes can give your place an upgrade. This article will give you some suggestions that can help transform your place into a swinging pad. It could also raise your property value.

TV Area
This is a must for any place. Try to avoid a lot of wires and cluttered speakers. A double sided ottoman serves as a foot rest and coffee table. You want this area to be relaxing and inviting. Flat screens work best, because it shows that you are up to date in the world of technology.

Kitchen
Stainless steel appliances give that extra clean look. Neatness is very important. A sloppy looking kitchen will make your date head for the door. The Margarittaville Frozen Concoction Maker is a must have for any bachelor pad.

Dining area
Wet bar furniture is a great idea for this area. A custom made dinner booth or table top will give your dining area an attractive personal appearance.

Bathroom
Avoid clutter. Things like robes, towels, toilet paper and toiletries have a place. Put them there when entertaining guests. Make sure that the bathroom is clean and sanitized. Remember, when someone closes the door, they can easily view your closed cabinets and drawers.

Bedroom
Have a made bed with no clothes lying around. It is important to have an attractive and comfortable looking bedroom. You also want to have a wireless light control system, so you can easily dim the lights. Soft music is a must. A small Apple TV is great for streaming movies and your favorite iTunes list.

Other Extras
The last thing you need to do is leave to buy a bottle of wine. Always have a bottle of white zin available. It is always cool to have a selection of beverages and finger foods ready to go.

A clean and clutter-less apartment adds to the atmosphere of your pad. This means clean floors.

Do not leave out insect traps or mouse traps. This can give off the wrong impression about your pad.

Finally, you always want your date to feel safe and secure. Keep this in mind as you prep your pad.
