A company cannot stand still; it needs to stay ahead of the game and more to the point ahead of its competitors. So how can a company improve....Well for a start if the company has employees then that is its biggest asset, and best way of improving the company both in the short and long term!

TOP TIP: Be honest with all employees and they will be honest with you in return, and remember that honesty from both parties could just help improve your business/company.

Employees are still companies and businesses number one asset, and without them not many businesses would survive or exist.

TOP TIP: Be creative. Don't just tell employees that you want their feedback, instead give them various online and offline outlets through which they can submit their feedback and suggestions, from informal meetings to online social networking websites. See what works for you, your business and your employees

So then now we have established how important employees how do we get them to help out our business or company....Well you be honest! Ask for their suggestions, their ideas and their input, and see what you get out of it. Don't just let them have there say, instead let your employees have input, research their ideas, and then see if they are any good. Don't shoot down employees, ideas or suggestions before they have even got of the ground.....please - this is the biggest mistake that companies still make.

TOP TIP: Encourage all of your employees to suggest ideas, whether they are full time, part time or temporary, they will no doubt have ways you can improve your company or business, as no doubt they see things in a different way to you - which is key to success when it comes to improving your business through your employees and members of staff.

So now we know employees suggestions can help improve businesses, how do we get their input....Well this is where and when you ask for it. This could be through competitions, prizes, cash, suggestion boxes, a days holiday and so on for any decent and worthwhile ideas and suggestions.

If you add an incentive into the works you will soon start to see how soon your employees start coming up with ideas - who knows perhaps this ideas could help your business or company be more profitable, efficient, productive and so on, so give it a try, use the number one asset you have available to you.....your employees.
