How to Improve Fat Princess

Otter
Fat Princess is one of the best multiplayer games on the Playstation 3. However, the Playstation Network exclusive game launched with numerous bugs and balance issues. Developer Titan Studios is already hard at work with fixing the numerous problems of Fat Princess, starting with the connection troubles. While the bug fixes are obvious, the balancing issues are a lot more subjective. Here are a few tweaks Titan Studios should apply to Fat Princess.

Team Balancing
Fat Princess is a 32-player multiplayer game. This is the case even when there aren't actually 32 real players. This Playstation Network title uses computer-controlled "bots" to fill in the quota when there aren't enough players connected to a match. Unfortunately, this can lead to some problems since you can end up in a situation where there are more bots on your team than the opposition. While the computer-controlled characters are adequate, they can easily be beaten by a team full of human players. Therefore, Titan Studious should tweak Fat Princess so that each team has the same amount of human players.

Stalemates
Often times, you will have a fairly competitive match in Fat Princess. However, that means that the match could go on forever between two equally good teams. This is especially true in the Rescue the Princess and Snatch 'n Grab modes. Titan Studios must find a way to limit the time between these two modes in Fat Princess. Some sort of sudden death scenario would be greatly appreciated.

Ice Mages and Dark Priests
For the most part, the core gameplay is pretty balanced, especially when it comes to the different classes. There are only two exceptions, the ice mages and dark priests. Both upgraded classes are deemed too overpowering as players who use them are often near the top of the leader board. Titan Studios should limit the points given to ice mages and dark priests in addition to reducing their attack powers in order to balance out the classes in Fat Princess.

Split-Screen
While Fat Princess has online multiplayer, local multiplayer is unfortunately omitted from the game launched on the Playstation Network of the Playstation 3. Still it remains one of the most requested features for the title. With Titan Studious is planning to support Fat Princess with multiple DLC in the future, perhaps adding in split-screen support for two or more players could be one of the new downloadable content. After all, many players are ready to pay for it.

You will have a hard time finding a better online multiplayer game than Fat Princess on the Playstation Network. These fixes should further enhance the already incredibly fun experience.
