Maintain An Adequate Weight To Increase Your Chances of Getting Pregnant

It is very important for women of child bearing years to maintain a healthy body weight. If you are too thin, it may hinder conception. Women that are underweight have a tendency to not have a regular period which is a key indicator of health in women. Women's bodies are meant to carry more body fat than men. Men can be healthy with only 5% body fat, but women need at minimum of 10-12% body fat to be healthy.

If you are underweight or if your body fat is less than 10%, you should increase your weight or body fat to increase your chances of becoming pregnant.

Many female athletes lose their periods temporarily. If you want to increase your chances of becoming pregnant, you should be having your period. Adjust your activities so that you are not pushing your body too hard. Also check to see if you have enough body fat.

If you are overeating or under eating, you are sabotaging your chances to become pregnant. Too much weight or too much fat in the blood stream can hinder the chances of getting pregnant. Not enough body fat can also hinder the chances of becoming pregnant.

Visit the Doctor To Increase Your Chances of Getting Pregnant

If you are having trouble getting pregnant, contact your doctor. Your doctor can evaluate your menstrual cycle or lack of one, your weight and your lifestyle to see what changes can be made to help you become pregnant fast.

It is best if you see your primary physician or a ob/gyn.

Take Folic Acid For A Healthy Pregnancy
