Sometimes we fail to take care of ourselves as artists. We assume that we will be able to create incredible, astonishing and outstanding pieces of art in an imperceptibly small amount of time, having not created anything for days. By learning how to take care of ourselves and our ability to create something, we can raise our creativity with more ease and comfort than we might think.

How to increase you creativity?

Here are some ways to help you take good care of your creativity and keep your mind healthier:

Sustain Your Creative Habit: By making habit of creating something we can achieve great advancement in our creativity and skills, because these habits become a part of our life. By simply giving fifteen minutes to your creativity every day, you will see great improvement and progress in your creativity. Consistency is very important if you want to raise the quality of your creativity.

Bring Down Your Habit of Negative Thinking: Thinking negatively is also a habit which holds our attention. We don't realize when we get ourselves involved in negative thinking, because it's a habit. It is very important to take control of this process of thought. Thinking negatively causes harm and damage to your creative abilities and your moral and ethical strengths. When a negative thought comes to your mind, substitute it with a positive thought.

Encourage Yourself: Sometimes we get discouraged when we are not appreciated by others. The solution of this problem is to encourage yourself! We consider achievement as something very huge and gigantic. Remember, ocean is formed by the combination of little drops of water and rain. Never feel discouraged and never depend upon encouragement from others and always appreciate and encourage yourself for whatever you create.

Take Care of Your Physical Fitness: Feeling good physically is the key to feeling more creative. Remember the famous saying "He who has health has hope. And he who has hope has everything". I am not asking you to go to a gym and lift 20 kilogram of weight. Just try to keep yourself busy in healthy activities that you like and do something that you enjoy. For example jogging, cycling, yoga, sports etc. Improving you physical health will have instant effects on your creativity.

My conclusion is that the only thing that you need to do is be your own best friend. Friends always encourage and support each other. Do everything for yourself that you consider good for your friends. The most important person in your life is you. Just take good care of yourself and you will become as creative as you can be.
