How to Increase Your Odds for Winning Sweepstakes

Entering Sweepstakes Can Be Fun

OK we all want to win big, and for some of us entering sweepstakes is our way of achieving that dream. I have entered sweepstakes for years and I have put together some tips that I feel have increased my odds of winning.

My tips mainly focus on mail in entry's, because there is not much you can do to help yourself win on line sweeps unless you enter a thousand times.

First when entering a sweepstakes read the rules carefully, see when the deadline is and how many times you can send in an entry.

Then go by the company Like if its a Cookie Company giving away a years supply of cookies as the grand prize, Then you would get some stamps and markers and stamp little cookies on your envelope and entry , then send it in. I think that anything that might catch the eye in drawings would have a better chance of getting chosen. Get creative buy lots of stampers, markers and stickers. If you are serious about winning get out there and decorate.

Now in the entry's that require answers to questions make sure you do your homework, Don't send in the wrong answer its pointless and you have wasted a stamp. Make sure you have the correct answers 100 percent. And then decorate that envelope as well.

I personally don't even go by the odds because there are always winners in contests and I just keep the mind set that it could be me, and it has been on occasion.

Finding sweepstakes- Now we have the Internet I search mail in sweepstakes, or I just pick random companies and go to the website and check for any current contests, the contests that are not widely advertised I feel like I have better odds of winning, but don't get me wrong I still enter all the big contests too.

Also supermarket and store contests you know the ones with the box out front and the entry pad beside it, I always carry some mini markers and little stamps with me at all times to decorate those. More time than not they dump the box into another container and I feel like my decorative flair might be noticed and picked.

My biggest tip for everyone is to have fun, don't treat this as a job. Because if you do you will get burned out. Spend each day being creative and you never know maybe one of your decorations will bring a smile to someone's face.

I live life to the fullest extent that I can, I have 2 daughters 11 months apart and the antics that they do on a daily basis will keep me on my toes for a long time.  View profile
