How do you put the power of postcards to work for you in building a downline?
1 Design postcards for your campaign. There are a number of postcard designs available but you want to be sure that the ones that you use reflect you and your business. One way to design postcards is to look at the postcards of other companies to see what works. This is not a simple project. It involves studying the direct mail efforts of successful marketers
2 Have a follow up plan. Keep track of every person you mail. Postcard marketing, if done right, many people will respond but you want to make money from the people who do not respond. Some people will not respond right away. You will want to develop a follow up plan on touching base with those who do not respond immediately. Some people want to see if you are the type to just mail out cards and see what happens or if you are a leader that is persistent and follows up.
3 Have a call to action. Make sure your postcard tells about your program and has a way for people to reach you and an invitation that they cannot refuse. The call to action can be a free gift, a list of compelling benefits, or testimonial of someone in your organization who has made it big.
4 Send mail for your downline. If your payplan is any good you will make money when your downline makes money. When your downline begins to grow, send out postcards on their behalf. The mail pieces may have their name on it but your phone number and email, Or when you do send out mailings, place the new enrollees under your downline members. Your downline will thank you and stick around (My downline members get energized and get into massive action when I help them and teach them to do the same for others)
5 Be consistent. You cannot mail a few postcards and expect that your downline will explode. It takes time to build a large downline whether you do it over the phone, online or by mail. You may only see a a few people join each month but over time the number will accumulate and you can generate some serious cash. Keep mailing whether it be daily, weekly, or monthly.
6 Treat marketing seriously. You are marketing because you were at some point convinced that your business made sense for you. Keep the vision. If you are serious the people you are trying to recruit will sense that you mean busines sand will want to follow you.
