People who run are often trying to increase their pace. They want to endure more running and increase their running distance in a shorter span of time. They are also highly concerned on how to increase running time. And all these are to help them improve quickly.

Get the proper and comfortable shoes. A runner should have shoes that can accommodate the arch of their feet, one that is comfortable to be in, and one that can help in the endurance of running a longer distance. You may also consult your physician on what shoes should suit you. Remember also not to use your running shoes to walk in all day for you might end up lacing and destroying them.

Endurance runs will help a person construct up a stronger endurance. You may want to do some few slow and easy runs in a week; this will greatly help in increasing a person's cardiovascular system. Slowly increase your run time and distance per week and you will surely make progress. Also keep in mind that endurance is essential on how to increase running time. Working on one's pacing is another way on how to increase running time. Warm up for at least ten minutes and start your run by setting a pace at the same speed for every mile. Once you are able to even out your speed, you gradually become faster, thus, increasing your run time.

After you have acquired a good endurance base, you may also want to try and practice some sprints, intervals, and hills. This will help test your endurance and skill at the same time push you to do better.

It will really help you if you do some strength trainings. This will help physically toughen you up. It will help decrease injuries for runners, or other athlete in that matter. Most of the beginner runners usually posses weak knees and poor lower back and lower leg strength. A good and balanced strength program is ideal to keep the body strong and helps it on how to increase running time. Your body will be able to do harder runs.
