How to Increase Upfront Payments

If you are downtrodden with low upfront payments for articles, and are often discouraged into not writing at all due to the petty pay, then check out this method for how to make more money with AC.

The first thing you want to do when writing for AC is write about what you know. Knowing information about less talked about subjects is a great way to increase your upfront payments. The more unique a piece of content is, while still abiding by basic SEO, the more money you can make per article. Once you have written about all that you know and you are looking for a new topic to write about to keep that money flow going, search and find a subject that looks easy to learn. The key to picking a subject to write about is to find one that has little information already written on it, or if you choose a well covered subject, make your article unique to the others posted on the site.

Aside from changing what you write about, you can change how you write about a subject in order to increase your upfront payments. Integrating SEO writing techniques into your articles is a great way to get your articles more noticed, and thus increase your upfront and performance payments. If you are unfamiliar with how to write SEO, you can check out this article on the basics and how you can make more money with your articles http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2518553/how_to_make_money_with_seo.html?cat=15.

Once you have developed a SEO style of writing, and have chosen a topic that has little coverage, or is unique on its own, you can check into writing as many high quality articles as possible. the more articles you produce, the more developed you become as a writer, and the more value you hold with AC. Top featured article writers often see a higher upfront payment, as well as wide coverage from AC broadcasting awards.

The last method that you can utilize to help increase your upfront payments is to check your articles for errors. If you have a article with a bulk amount of errors, you will not only see a low performance payment offer, but there is a high chance it will be declined for payment in itself. There is also the taking pride in your work aspect to reading over your articles before you submit, because once it is published there is little you can do to alter a misspelled word or two.

Ever since the Yahoo! acquisition and transition, my upfront payments have been in the toilet. I just submitted 4 articles not too different from what I submitted, say, last July, and got straight up shut down on all 4 for upfront payments, receiving completely irrelevant excuses. I'm not happy, so it looks like the content farm days are over for me. Back to my own website.

I am still confused at to the type of articles that apply to up front payments. I assume product reviews apply, but general articles I don't know. My first couple of articles I tried and was told they weren't the right type, and I haven't had time to research into this yet, but up front payments would really help increase my earnings, which is important to me right now, as well as just getting more exposure.
