If you have recently started a website, and are looking to get more traffic, and views, check out this method to help get your website out there, and attract more people.

The first thing you want to do when trying to get more views on your website is establish a baseline viewer audience. This means create something on your website that would require people to frequently return, examples are blog entries, and forums. Both of these are great tools that can easily be added onto any website that help create a returning audience. If you are unable to get that baseline returning audience, due to you not wanting your website to be filled with blog post, and forum chats, you can check into optimizing your website with SEO content. SEO content, also known as search engine optimization content helps put your website on the higher end of search results on everyday used search engines. This is a great tool to help get more views, because it introduces your website to a wider audience.

The best way you can go about getting the SEO content is purchasing it from a site that specifies in selling SEO, or checking out how to write it yourself. http://seosbasics.weebly.com/ is a great little website that gives a base of what SEO is and how to write it.

Another method commonly used to help get more views on a website is broadcasting it on websites such as Facebook, and MySpace. Once you get a large friend following on those two social networking sites, you can post links to your website to help get those people interested, and get more views. It is advised to create an account separate from your personal life account, in order to help get views on your website, without aggravating your friends by pushing it in their face.

Another commonly used method to help boost site traffic is using affiliate programs to help link your website to other websites of the same content. Google adsense is a basic version of this concept, and is great for the beginner looking to widen their website to an audience larger than that baseline traffic.

Overall in determining what method is going to be most effective to get more views on your website, you have to decide on what would work best on your website. You may need to start a blog to get a baseline of followers, then mold your website into the intended image you want it to be. Creating a blog is the most effective tool you can use to help get your website out their, and get people coming back, all you have to do is make sure the blog is interesting, and end each day with a word or two that will keep people coming back. As long as you follow these basic methods, you will be sure to increase website traffic, and get more daily views on your website, which will lead to advertising opportunities, where you can start profiting from those views.

Having your blog linked to sites like MySpace and Facebook also Twitter, does help in getting exposure, but you have to spend the time to get a good fan base on the sites that you are using, since articles that are shown on each site will only be seen by your friends. Tagfoot is another good site for promoting your blog. Once you do get successful on any site, the other problem that I have found is that often people comment on your articles on those sites, rather than on the articles themselves, so you have a lot of Facebook comments for example, but none on the blog. In reality, an article looks a lot more popular if it has dozens of comments on it. I have to admit that so far I haven't found the solution to this problem.
