So where does one start? Well, I started to look around my local area to see what it would cost to install some solar panels on my average size house. The absolute lowest price I could find was $ 20,000!!! Yes, let me spell it out, T-W-E-N-T-Y T-H-O-U-S-A-N-D D-O-L-L-A-R-S. What!? To save money, the planet and to do the right thing, that everyone else is telling me to do, is going to put me in the hole for 20 thousand? Well hold on a minute. They told me I could get a great tax credit. Nice, but I don't have 20,000 dollars lying around. I would have to see if I have enough equity in my house to get a second mortgage. So let me look at this, I have to spend 20,000 to save money in the future. Umm...I thought there must be a better, cheaper way. So I went online to do some more research and low and behold I found a much better and inexpensive way to getting solar panels without spending thousands of dollars. In fact, saving me over 19,000 dollars!! For more information on how I got started go to my blog page
