How to Have an Inexpensive Wedding

Save for the Future!

Dan Reveal
Fortunately, how to have an inexpensive wedding can begin as a matter of common sense as you plan to what extent you wish to save money.

The least expensive wedding, for example, hardly requires any planning at all if you decide to just go away quietly somewhere and get married.

But even if you want to create a more memorable occasion, an inexpensive wedding can still be a matter of common sense, a festive day made possible with the help of other people and a knowledge of relevant and available resources.

Use Leftover Flowers

As you have an inexpensive wedding, you can make use of the resource of those leftover flower arrangements from funerals.

This is not as bad as it sounds, and actually creates a good attitude for your inexpensive wedding. Think of mourners who would be willing to donate flowers to something as positive as a wedding instead of continually associating flowers with the death of a loved one.

Flowers can also be provided as you have an inexpensive wedding by a relative who grows them and arranges them.

Invite Only Immediate Family

As you plan on a memorable but inexpensive wedding, you can not only invite just the immediate family, you can also save money by having the ceremony in a family member's house.

Having an inexpensive wedding that involves other people will certainly require more planning than just eloping, but these family members will probably want to help you save money by pitching in.

Use Christmas Lights for Decoration

In order to save money on a wedding as well, the father of the bride might be only too happy to climb into the attic and bring down Christmas lights that can be used to decorate the wedding.

Go to Wedding Shows

Although it may be the most far-fetched of the ideas about how to have an inexpensive wedding, going to a wedding show and possibly winning a free wedding is still a reasonable idea.

This type of show offers contests and prizes and may be the most direct answer regarding how to have an inexpensive wedding.

In sum, your goal to have an inexpensive wedding can be supported by the help of family members. It is also good to be aware of those resources which provide the least expensive flowers, food, and decorations.

In the long run, however, maybe the idea of having an inexpensive wedding isn't nearly as important as who you marry.

Yeah, that last bit was the most important part.

When I get married someday I think we'll just have a cookout with the family and a few friends. A person doesn't have to spend a small fortune. They're just as married as the next couple.

Some good ideas here Dan. Twinkle lights make wonderful wedding decorations.
