How to Install Banners on Exterior Walls

Screws that are made for the material you are dealing with and appropriately sized washers will hold your banner securely in place, provided you have banner signs with grommets along the top and bottom. If you are working with a brick wall, you will need to predrill holes and install anchors first to hold the screws securely in place.

Because these processes will require that you make a hole in the side of your building or fence, it is very important that you determine the proper placement before you make your first hole.

Determining Proper Placement of Your Banner Signs

The proper placement of your vinyl banners will depend somewhat on your own desire. Perhaps you want the banner centered over a specific sign or window, or you may wish to center the banner on the wall. If your screws do not line up perfectly with the grommets on the banner, you will not successfully install your banner.
