How to Install Oracle VM VirtualBox 4.0.4

Annie Jean Brewer
Oracle VM VirtualBox is a program that will allow you to install and run multiple operating systems on your computer simultaneously. Software developers have used this type of software for years to test their programs in a safe environment without having to worry about accidental damage to the systems that they use to work. The software fools the operating system into thinking that it is running on its own separate system when in fact it is running within another operating system.

One current use of Oracle VM VirtualBox is to test and use a variety of operating systems on a single computer without having to reboot or worry about partitioning. Users can explore the wonders of Linux, BeOS and other operating systems from within the safety of their Windows computer.

Things You Need:

Step One:
Double click on the installation EXE file. The installation process will begin. Press "Next" to begin the setup.

Step Two:
Press "Next" to accept the default installation directory.

Verify that there are check marks in the two boxes and click the "Next" button.

Step Six:
Press the "Yes" button on the User Account Control to allow the program to work.

Step Seven:
Click the "Install" button to give Oracle permission to install the USB bus software.

Step Eight:
Click the "Install" button to give Oracle permission to install the Network Service.

Step Nine:
Press the "Install" button to give permission to install the Network adapters for VirtualBox.

Press the "Install" button to give permission to install more network adapters.
