How Should Kate Middleton Say Cheerio to Her 20s?

Nancy Tracy
Many women claim to be 29, but this weekend Prince William's fiance Kate Middleton will actually turn this dubious age. With just a year to go before she bids adieu to her 20s, Britains soon-to-be princess has one last chance to let her hair down before donning her royal crown.

Just in case she's looking for ideas, here are a few ways Middleton can have some fun on her 29th birthday.

Go clubbing with Snooki: The classy Middleton will never be mistaken for a guidette, but hanging out with Snooki for a night should persuade her that being an old, married royal won't be so bad.

Bleach her hair blonde: With all the comparisons between Middleton and Prince William's late mother, Princess Diana, the soon-to-be princess could poke fun at the paparazzi by sporting a short blonde, layered do.

Host an episode of SNL: After Anne Hathaway's riotous spoof of Middleton and her royal pain grandparents-in-law on "Saturday Night Live" in November, as reported in the New York Daily News, the real Middleton could host the American comedy show and spoof Hathaway's turn as princess on "The Princess Diaries."

Start a new fashion trend: The stylish Kate, listed as a top-10 style icon in the Daily Mail, can throw fashionistas into a tizzy by attending a polo match in a hay and moss dress (think veggie version of Lady Gaga's meat dress). Given Middleton's fashion maven status, the fashion mags could even declare Middleton's getup a new green fashion trend.

Mimic Marilyn: Middleton could mirror the late Marilyn Monroe by posing for an Andy Warholesque four-image cover on Britain's Tatler magazine. Whoops, never mind. The playful princess-to-be just did that!
