Vaccination will prevent your children from contracting that particular bacteria or virus in the future. People have said it before that a dirty kid is healthier than a clean kid because he or she develops immunity through the acquired germs. One thing you can do is to expose your child to the environment as much as possible because that will help your child's immune system. Your child will get use to the normal flora and fauna and won't get sick easily. You can bring your child to the beach, the park, the supermarket, the theater and any other places.
There are germs that are not healthy flora or fauna and can cause devastating illness in your child. You should keep your children from those kinds of germs. The germs in the public restroom is not that good for any one and can cause great illness. You should not let your children sit on the toilet seats or play around in the restroom as most kids would do. Your pets can harbor many germs and you should clean your pets often to get rid of germs. You should keep your children away from pets if they are currently ill because pets carry a lot of harmful germs.
