At the end of a season, a television program will produce the box set compiling all the episodes featured in that season, along with other added bonuses. This is the most expensive method to help keep up to date, but with innovations such as the iPod Touch you can purchase a whole season on iTunes and watch each episode at your leisure.

We spent 10 days in Florida over Christmas, and on our return we were able to watch all the episodes of the soaps that we would have missed. We also were able to catch up one show at a time, and to skip through the adverts, which is great. It's infinitely better than the old days of video taping. The other benefit is that you no longer have to schedule your life around television shows. You can now watch them at any time. Watching online is good too, however be aware that many US shows are blocked on the internet if you try to watch from outside the USA. Ditto many UK shows are not available to watch overseas.
