Sick of going out and having the greatest night of your life to having the worst morning afterwards. Waking up and feeling like you were hit by a truck is not the way to start anymore. Hangovers are painful and very much unwanted. There are a few things you can do to minimize your chances of getting a hangover.

Before you go out and have a few drinks try these tricks :

Drink two glasses of water. Drinking causes major dehydration within the body, which is some what surprising because you are drinking. Dehydration is also a huge causes for a hangover headache. So make sure you are well hydrated before you go drinking. Another trick is while drinking here and there order a glass of water it will also help you stay hydrated.

Eat fatty foods or a carbohydrate filled meal. A burger would be the ultimate meal. But do not over eat because they can lead to a stomach ache. But try to at something before so you can absorb some of the alcohol.

While you are drinking:

Avoid super caffeinated mixers such as Red Bull. Caffeine will dehydrate you as well as the alcohol. Plus mixing drinks also makes the person feel as though they are not having as much alcohol so they can drink to excess. Having one is alright but more then one will lead to hard hangover.

Try to go with clear colored alcohols. Darker liquors such as whiskey have more of the toxins that can cause nausea the next morning. So try to stick to vodka and other liquors you can see thru.

Avoid super sweet drinking. Again this will make you think you can have more alcohol since it tastes oh so good. But the big reason behind this is that drinks with sweet mixes will elevate your sugar level. When your sugar level elevates it changes the way your body metabolizes alcohol. Try to stick to tonics or drinks with lime or lemon for that added taste.

What to do when your done drinking:

Water. Water. Water. Get yourself hydrated quickly. Even just a glass of water before bed can help you from an awful morning.

Get yourself a tiny midnight snack. Fill up on carbs at night will help regulate your blood sugar. This will help you from making your hangover symptoms worst. So eat a slice of pizza before you hit the pillows.

So using this information will help you be able to go out and have a good time without worry about the next morning.
