First, I found it handy to have each of the content producers I have in my favorites to send me a message that I keep in my inbox. This way when I go to catch up with everyone I can just click on their picture from my account page and it does not open a new window. This helps me in just using forward and back button or clicking on my account again to get back to go on to the next CP. If you see you are on my favorites list and we have yet to correspond via message, please send me one now so I can add you to my list to follow. I am not sure how many messages it will show on account page before having to go to a new page yet though.
Secondly, "Subscribers" confuse me. I have subscribed to my favorites but do not always get messages when something new post. However, for the most part I do. Here is the problem. I see that I have some that have subscribed to me, yet I am not sure who they are. The names are different then their pen names which is throwing me off. Do people subscribe and not add to favorites? How do you know if you been added to someone's favorites but not been subscribed to? I want to make sure that I get to all those CP's post that visit mine. If you have added me to favorites or subscribed to me, please send me a message telling me so that way I can show the love back.
Thirdly, Well darn, I forgot what the third one was!! I am a bit ADD, so you must forgive me. I am writing this off the top of my head, so please disregard grammar, punctuation, and spelling; you know all the things that get critique criticized in articles. I guess thirdly would be, what do you do as a CP that helps you stay current with your fellow favorite content producers? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
While I am here, I would like to give a shout out to my favorites on here as of so far! I am not going to list them but if you take a gander at my favorites, I think you may enjoy them as well. A couple of them are not active, which is sad, but the others are quite active. I try to get to as many new pages as time allows as well, to see what all else is out there. There are so many wonderful writers with so much to say. I look forward to meeting more of you.
Thank you in advance for your time and suggestions.

Post a CommentI get alerts when people write new contributions but some people like using the RSS subscription service to stay on top of new posts.
This was good, I liked it!
I no longer receive emails either when my favorites publish. I try to go in and click on them to see if anything was published. I now have to go into my articles to see if anyone has left me a comment and I always try to send them comments as well. It's really hard though since I don't know when someone leaves a comment but I am trying so be patient if I don't find your comment right away.
Right back at ya.
I know it is very difficutl to keep up, especially if you do a few different sites. I am fairly sure that I have I have subrcribed to you and added you to my favorites. If I have not I will go and do so now.
I try to keep track of my favorites and I also will check out anyone who comments one of my articles. It is time consuming and I do lose track sometimes. I like you're idea too. I hate that I no longer get emails telling me when I get a comment, that used to help. I find the emails I get about a favorite just published are hit and miss lately too. For instance, I never get notification when my son publishes, but I do get notification when some others do. It's very frustrating, I feel your pain. Good article :)
I try to keep with with the people who read my articles and make comments by clicking on their icons. I also go thru my list of favorites and click on their icons. I fall behind all the time.
Hey, Bacon! Good idea about keeping a message link open--I think Cassandra's right about automatically favoriting someone when you subscribe. I have also found that when people leave comments on my stories, it's easy to return the favor by clicking through on their icons then. Since you get notified that someone's left a comment via e-mail, that's another way to get a reminder.
Super ideas.
good ideas!................I have also noticed that the lists of the subscribers show up with the actual name, and NOT the pen name..................that is confusing................................
