How to Keep the Weight You Gained so You Won't Be Too Thin Again

Lance Esondi
Most people struggle with having too much body weight. Some are the complete opposite. Instead of too much weight, they are very thin. It takes awhile to get muscle and fat on the body to be at a proper weight again and not to too underweight. Most people who do gain the weight, have a hard time keeping it. There are a few things that you can do to maintain that weight.

Continue the program that you were doing to gain the weight in the first place. If you start to gain too much, just cut back a little. Some people are so naturally underweight that it might take a consistent program to actually keep the right weight on the body.

You should look into workout out with weights. This along with the protein will get your body a bit thicker. All the weight gain doesn't have to be fat. It's actually better if it much of it is muscle. You will look thicker and healthier with more muscle on your body. You can add fat as well but much of this is better if it is muscle.

Your eating plan should be a bit higher in calories so that you can continue to keep weight on your body. Be sure that you are also eating lots of protein. What protein will do for you is allow your body to add a bit more muscle so that you can have a bit more muscle mass.

Make it a habit to check your weight at least once a month. This will let you know whether or not you are keeping the results that you worked so hard for. If you get too light, start adding on calories so that you can gain it back. It's easier to maintain month to month than letting almost a whole year slip by before making changes.
