How to Get Your Kid Ahead of the Class
Get Your Child on the Fast Track of Learning by Spending as Little as 20 Minutes a Day with Them
Parents today often have to work harder and longer to make ends meet. In order to put food on the table they have to sacrifice parenting time and attention that is critical for their child's future. Many feel too tired after working and this is especially hard for single parent families.
You can significantly get your child ahead of his or hers class by devoting 20 minutes a day. Some say-" my schedule is hectic as it is! As much as I want to, I just don't have the time or energy." One way to make time is to do it early in the morning. Wake up yourself and your child a half hour earlier. Eat a good quick breakfast with your child while reviewing their homework. While you are reviewing their homework, give them a short lesson of your creation or from widely available home school styled material from the Internet. The benefit of doing this in the morning is because you and your child are more refreshed with rest and a healthy breakfast. This allows for more receptiveness in their learning as well as yours.
We cannot anymore rely solely on the public and private education system to educate our kids. Many of the school systems around the country have had to cut the number of educators due to economic setbacks as well as funding for much need programs and activities. There are many available on-line educational enrichment websites that are fun for children and can help progress their knowledge. Take advantage of them!
Most experts agree that teaching and working with your child early on will increase their abilities and further their learning potential later on. Don't be afraid if you don't know some of the answers to your kid's homework assignments. Google can be your best friend! Use it to your full advantage to better explain the problem and find the answer WITH your child.
Remember that children, like adults need to adhere to a schedule. The more organized and diligent you are, the more effective you can be as a parent not only by action but also through the example that you set. The proper amount of sleep and a healthy diet is also critical for your child's development.
