It's been said before, but it bears repeating: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. You're not going to make millions working from home part time doing data entry with no typing skills. The fact of the matter is that, if there were such a job, you would never see it advertised because the people working for the company hired to advertise for the job would invariably quit their advertising jobs in favor of the miracle job. In other words, don't expect something for nothing.
The next step in how to know if a data-entry work-at-home job is a scam is to realize that real data entry jobs do exist. However, they are going to require previous experience, and/or they are going to require you to pass a typing aptitude test. If you can't type accurately, you're not going to get a real data-entry work-at-home job. In addition, you need to know that most of the real data-entry work-at-home jobs are based locally. Data-entry, as a profession, only requires a modest degree of education and skills. Therefore, a company isn't going to pay to ship materials halfway around the world to an inexperienced typist. A legitimate work-at-home job doing data-entry is going to be for a local company, and it isn't going to require you to pay anything up front.
Most of the time, when you receive an advertisement for a "typing job" or an "email processor," it will be a scam. By knowing what to look for, you can avoid being ripped off by these unscrupulous individuals.
