Look around your desk (as I am doing this very instant). What do you see? Just as an example I'll tell you what is on my desk. A 22" monitor, wireless keyboard, a cable router, a wireless router, 2 digital cameras, computer speakers, a wireless keyboard, a wireless mouse, a printer, a computer, a shredder, a battery charger, and a cell phone. Hmmm... Yup you guessed it a Gadget Maniac.
Now you might say that doesn't really prove that you're a gadget junkie. I would say that you're probably wrong. Because I also have a GPS, external hard drives, a netbook computer (as well as a desktop computer), Blu-ray DVD player, home theater system, plasma TV and the list goes on and on. So, you know it, Gadget Maniac.
Another way to tell if you are truly a Gadget Maniac is do you share your goodies with anyone? I am married. I'm sorry to say that I don't share my gadgets with my spouse. I may on occasion lend them to him, but I have my very own gadgets and he has his.
The only time that I'm not using one of my gadgets is probably when I'm asleep. I will get up in the morning, grab a cup of coffee, and head to the computer. From there on life is spent reading, writing, checking emails, working on finances, and an occasional break to cook, clean, and do laundry.
I think that without gadgets life would, well, be boring.
I'm possibly at the point that I can no longer live without my gadgets. So is there help for me? Maybe not, but that's okay I'm happy. Summer will be here soon which means I will be taking vacations from my gadgets, but only short ones. So, if you too are a Gadget Maniac as the song says, "Don't worry be Happy".

No doubt my husband is one.
Fun - I have a lap top so that eliminates a lot of stuff on my desk! The less the better for me. Every new thing is something else to move, clean, water, feed, etc.
Nice work.
Great topic. If money was not an option, I would probably have quite a few more gadgets than I do currently. However, I'm a firm believer in no gadgets during family times like dinners and game night and I'm not one to be addicted to my phone or other gadgets. However, they are really cool and I love seeing the new things they come out with, too.
