1. Be on time- The last thing you want to do is be late for your interview. Employers will view this as a repetitive behavior, thus think when you get the job you will be tardy a lot. Not to mention it makes you look unreliable.
2. Be relaxed and be yourself- Most people go into interview nervous, just breath and relax it's just a job interview. If you are not the right person for the job, you still learn something new and useful for future interviews.
3. Look the part- Well-groomed interviewee will make a lasting impression. It is important for the potential employer to be able to visualize you in this role of bookkeeper or janitor, it does not matter the position being well groom can go a long way.
4. Ask question- Asking question can allow you to get a better understanding of the position. Employers some time gauge how interested you are in the position on how many questions you ask.
5. Use a Firm Handshake and direct eye contact- A limp handshake and like of eye contact can be signs of nervousness and possibly dishonesty.
6. Write Thank you notes- Thank you notes can create a positive impression alone. Just make sure you get business cards from every one interviewing you. Be sure to spell their names right.
