I have a great recipe for making very strong bubbles for your kids. You won't have to worry about all of those watery bubbles that you buy in the store any longer. The bubbles are very strong and are hard to pop. They also make really large bubbles. They do not float away as quickly as the store bought bubbles do either. Your kids can have fun chasing them around your yard. It will keep them entertained just trying to pop them. You will have fun too. The ingredients are items that you can find out your local grocery store and pharmacy. I know that you are really going to enjoy these bubbles. Once you make them, you will never buy bubbles from a store again.
Items that you will need
Dish soap (preferably a name brand)
Glycerin-(check for this at a pharmacy)
Water
Container to hold your bubbles
Assortment of bubble wands
Play clothing (just in case the solution should cause stains)
Recipe
2 tbsp. of dish soap
1 tbsp. glycerin
1/2 cup water
Mix all of these ingredients. Let the bubbles sit at least 12-15 hours before using. The mixture will have more strength.
Adjust the recipe as you see fit. Increase or decrease depending on the size of your container.
Homemade Bubble Wands
Use the plastic holder from a six pack of soda
Strawberry containers
Coat hangers (the metal type)-create your own shapes
Assorted lids with holes of varying sizes
Fly swatters
Games to Play with Bubbles

See who can make the most bubbles at once

See whose bubble lasts the longest
Where to Use Your Bubbles
Parks
Picnics
Family Gatherings
Birthday Parties
Backyards
Holiday Gatherings
Precautions
It is best to use these bubbles outside. They can become very slippery. I would suggest having your children use them on a grassy area. Supervision is recommended with these bubbles. Make sure that your children do not get them into their eyes. If they should, flush their eyes immediately. It is not recommended to add coloring to these bubbles. The coloring can stain clothing and items. The bubble solution can also stain wood.
Hope you enjoy and have a fabulous time with the kids!!!
