Google Plus can stream your Twitter feed, with the Buzz Tab. I have seen loads of people asking, "What's the Buzz Tab for?" Well countless things actually, but the best thing is your Twitter feed to stream on your Google Plus account.
Getting your Twitter feed to stream on your Google Plus account is a lot easier than you may think. First, and most importantly you have to have a Google Plus account. If you can't get an invite to join Google Plus, simply look for Google Plus on Facebook, there are loads of people offering an invite. When you join Google plus, be sure to join with a Gmail email address, if you don't have one sign up for Gmail at Gmail.com
After you have received your Google Plus account, log into your Gmail account associated with your Google Plus account. By default Gmail has the "Buzz" already in your account under the "Inbox." If you see it, skip to the next section to set up your Twitter stream. If you don't see the Buzz label then you will need to add it. At the top right click "Mail Settings." There would be an icon, with a drop down box to get to Mail Settings. Once you are in Mail Settings, click on the Buzz link. Near the bottom, "Show Buzz in Gmail" make sure it's marked to show it. Be sure to tick any other options you wish. Remain in this section to set up your Twitter stream to appear in your Google Plus account.
To set up your Twitter stream to appear on the Buzz Tab in Google Plus, pay attention to the section "Your Connected Sites," click on "View, and edit." In this window click on the button "Add" right above the word "Twitter." Type in your "Username" of your Twitter account, and click "Connect." Now this is going to take time some to appear, anywhere from 5 hours to 48 hours. So don't think you did it wrong, the more you tweet the quicker your stream has been indexed, and only new tweets will show up.
To check that it's working, after your tweets appear in your Buzz feed in Gmail, it won't be long before they start to appear on your Buzz tab on Google Plus. View your profile, and click on Buzz, new tweets will appear. Yes, it's really that simple. There is a delay of about 6 hours before your Twitter feed postings are added to your Google Plus account, but at least your feed is there.
