We love spending time with our friends. Going out with friends is something most of us do but it can get costly. The cheaper version of going out with your friends but still have fun with them is to host a dinner party. Instead of going out with your friends bring your friends in! Each guest can bring a dish or, if you prefer, you can make the meal yourself. You still will have the fun of spending time with your friends without hurting your wallet. You can even play games after dinner.
Most of us girls enjoy our "Girls Night Out". In fact, we look forward to them. If it is costing you too much to go out with the girls then the same method applies here that I mentioned earlier. Instead of a "Girl's Night Out" have a "Girls Night In". Have an old fashioned sleep over with all of your gal pals. You can give each other manicures and pedicures. Bring out your favorite movies. Have everyone bring their favorite snack. This will probably end up being more fun than going out would have been.
We all love enjoy spending time with our family. We enjoy going out to eat and to the movies. Just going to a movie and out to eat for a family of 4 can cost a small fortune.Instead of going out have a movie night at home. You can rent your favorite movies, have popcorn and snacks. You still get to have movie night without spending big bucks. Game night will also be a great idea to have with the family.
When it comes to eating out how about cooking in at home? You can make homemade pizza and everyone can get in on the action. They can add the toppings and fixings that they love. You can combine this activity with the movie or game night. You can usually find cheaper versions of your famous restaurant foods online. Try doing a search and see what you can find.
Take advantage of your local parks and nature trails. Pack up the family and a picnic and head for the park. Kids love the park and it gives Mom and Dad a chance to hang out as well. If you have boys they probably love to skateboard. You can usually find a local skate park close by too.
If you enjoy having date night with your husband try staying in. You can fix a nice candlelight dinner with soft music. If you normally go to the movies on your date night then rent a movie you both will enjoy. Cart off the kids to Grandma's so you can have the house to yourselves.
Having fun and spending quality time with your family and friends doesn't have to be costly. Fun can be free!
