Israel is the only nation on earth that can get away with its despicable behavior year after year -- hell, decade after decade -- and not suffer the wrath of Washington. Can you imagine what the U.S. would do if the apartheid government in South Africa suppressed millions of "Coloreds" in squalid refugee camps like Israel has done to three million Palestinians since 1948? Or if Serbian, Nicaraguan or Cambodian assassination squads practiced the same tactics that are regularly employed by the Mossad? Or if Iraq invaded and occupied Kuwait like Israel did in Lebanon for 18 years? Oh wait, we did do something, just never in the case of Israel.
And this blather about Israelis being America's most important and stable partners in that part of the world? Huh? Just what good are they? We can't call on them for any help for fear of a shitstorm. Other than Iraq, they account for the most deaths, destruction, drama and destabilizing influence in the Middle East. This is a one-way partnership in which U.S. credibility and security have been repeatedly damaged by our so-called ally.
You see basically Israel just doesn't give a damn how it behaves as long as it can rely on the Holocaust and what Christians call the Old Testament as justifications for any atrocity it wishes to inflict, and as long as its Uncle Patsy remains hostage to the vastly lopsided influence of American Jews.
Israel is like a person who invades his neighbors' home, beats and rapes the family and, then when one of the captives manages to slash him with a kitchen knife, kills the occupants, burns the house down and claims self-defense. Because of Jewish media bias, most Americans only come in at the slashing part and conclude "hey, he had to do what he had to do."
Israelis love to point to suicide bombers, rocket attacks, kidnappings or car bombs to demonstrate Palestinians' refusal to negotiate in good faith -- and justify their barbaric treatment of Palestinians and their disproportionate ruthlessness in Gaza. What the hell do they expect Palestinians to do to counter 60 years of oppression, suppression, the theft of their ancestral land, torture and murder? They don't have American supplied tanks, gunships and F-16s to give their actions the patina of civilized slaughter like Israel. It's a bit hard to be reasonable when a thug has his jackboot on your throat. Besides, Israeli's unconscionable disregard of non-Jewish human life and dignity along with its sophisticated war machine have killed and maimed tens of thousands more Palestinian civilians then all the crude bombs and rockets Palestinians have launched in return.
Israel isn't the martyr here. Americans need to understand the historical context; Hostilities didn't suddenly begin in 1948 when Egypt, Syria and Jordan attacked the new Israeli state. Following the Balfour Declaration in 1917 establishing, in principle, a future Jewish state, Zionist militants (i.e. terrorists; funny how that term had a whole different meaning when the Jews got to do the terrorizing) intimidated, kidnapped and murdered Palestinian natives and British colonial officials for 30 years until Britain cried "uncle" following World War II. The most famous terror attack was launched by none other than Noble Peace Prize winner Menachem Begin on Jerusalem's King David Hotel in 1944 in which 91, mostly British civilians, were killed.
The Allies agreed to Balfour in order to surreptitiously secure the support of important Jewish financiers and international bankers such as the Rothschild family to underwrite their war with the Central Powers, one of which, the Ottoman Empire, just happened to control Palestine at the time. As part of the Versailles Treaty officially ending the war, Britain, granted the territory under a League of Nations' mandate, quickly moved to reward its Jewish benefactors by encouraging large-scale Jewish emigration in order to offset the conspicuously Palestinian population advantage and justify the eventual land grab. At the time, only about 40,000 Jews, or about six percent of the population, lived in Palestine.
From the very beginning, the U.S., Britain and France demonstrated an unmistakable bias toward the future state of Israel awarding it the most fertile land and nearly the entire navigable Mediterranean coastline. The UN Partition Plan, Resolution 181, determined that 55 percent of historic Palestine be given to the Jewish settlers although they composed only 30 percent of the population in 1947. The remaining 45 percent of Palestine was to comprise a home for the other 70 percent of the population who were Arab. To further ensure the new Palestinian state would fail, the West withdrew all its troops leaving the defenseless Palestinian farmers at the mercy of a combat-trained and internationally-funded Zionist militia, battle hardened from years of fighting the British occupiers and mercilessly slaughtering Arab settlers.
Partition Plan 1947 Israel and Occupied Territories 2002
This visual is a stark indictment of Israel's obscene policies of tyranny and ethnic cleansing.
Palestinians and surrounding Arab nations rejected the plan because of its inherent unfairness and attacked Israel on May 15, 1948. During and following Israel's "war of independence," 750,000 Palestinians were driven out of their homes and 418 villages were depopulated and destroyed, a clear violation of international law, what today would be referred to as "ethnic cleansing."
By 1949 Israel had captured 78 percent of historic Palestine. In 1967 Israel captured the remaining 22 percent. Currently 3,225,000 Palestinian refugees live under the oldest and one of the most brutal military occupations in history, and form the largest refugee population in the world, surpassing those of Afghanistan, Sudan and Myanmar.
This is important. Resolution 181 establishing the partition of Palestine created two independent states. The two-state idea is not some recent Israeli gesture of good will and paean to humanitarian decency. It was mandated in 1947 and reaffirmed no less than 70 times. Amazingly, although 181 created the new Jewish state, Israel has yet to endorse it because it also established:
1. A sovereign Palestinian state whose boundaries are specified by treaty.
2. The designation of Jerusalem as an international zone, free city.
3. No expropriation of Arab lands.
4. The "right of return" and full citizenship for Palestinian refugees.
Instead, in direct contravention of the mandate (and subsequent resolutions demanding its compliance), Israel refuses repatriation of displaced Palestinians; shatters the fledgling Palestinian economy with its control of its borders, airspace, roads, electric power and water supply; withholds Palestinian-generated tariffs, taxes and tolls; alters international borders at whim; and illegally occupies Jerusalem, designating it as its capital.
How does Israel get away with it? Residual Western Holocaust guilt, American right-wing, anti-Arab prejudice, shameless political pandering to influential Jewish contributors by both Democrats and Republicans. But the real reason there's no tail wagging the dog debate and no public scrutiny is that Jews at the highest levels of media, entertainment, academia, think tanks, government, banking, finance and, most essentially, in the hugely potent American Israel lobby won't tolerate a discussion of Israel's criminality. Just try and raise the issue and see how quickly you're washed with the "anti-Semitism" label.
Nothing will be resolved in the Middle East and the Arab world while Americans tolerate Israeli atrocities.

Post a CommentMr. Moore definitely presents a one-sided interpretation of the "facts", sepcifically regarding UN resolutions. In 1947, it was the Arab nations who rejected the 2 state solution. The "fact" of the matter is: the zionists accepted the idea of 2 states from day one, yet Arab nations as a whole, and the Palestinians among them, have yet to accept a 2 state solution. They are still fighting for a single state - a Palestinian one.
The Israeli people have demonstrated a willingness to compromise for peace many times: In 1947, accepting the UN partition plan and then being attacked by Arab neighbors, In Camp David, retuning all of the Sinai to Egypt and in signing a peace treaty with Jordan's King Hussein.
Every Israeli Prime Mininster since Rabin, has publicly declared support for the 2 state idea. The Palestinian's right for a country is widely supported in Israeli public opinion from left to right.
When will Palestinians accept that Israel has a right to exist as well?
You're standing on a free pulpit declaring "Those evil mean dirty Jews in the Middle East are so evil", and you want me to dignify your stupidity with some sort of coherent argument? You can't even produce one yourself - you've found an outlet to voice your own hatred, and then get angry and demand that your filth be elevated to an intellectual discussion by those who dissent with your anti-semitism. Well, too bad.
No, not at all, because I'm not engaging in an intellectual discourse with someone who has the barest coherent point. If I stood beneath a hanging black man and demanded that you stand there and tell me why I'm wrong in a long row of absurd details, you'd laugh. Why? Because the facts are clear: the man who hangs the black man is a racist hog. The man who has a baseless, unjustifiable position, too, is racist. Pick the phrase you want to be called, any plethora of disparaging remarks about your inherent anti-semitism are perfectly applicable.
See here's the thing, Chadd, I'd be a lot more impressed by your objections and your supposed credentials as a writer if you actually provided FACTS to try to demonstrate that my charges are incorrect instead of simply calling me names. Aren't you embarrassed that's the best you've got? May I suggest you do some research before you start calling people "idiots" and "hogs?"
Yes, I saw that. You'll note the comment where I said I saw that. And I quote my comment: "but if you hang a black man from a tree, and then wave your hand and go "Oh some idiot is going to accuse me of racism", that doesn't change the fact that you're a racist hog.". Telling people not to accuse you of anti-semitism doesn't absolve you of your anti-semitism, you anti-semitic hog.
And I quote from the article: "Just try and raise the issue(of Israeli brutality) and see how quickly you're washed with the "anti-Semitism" label. HMM
Go Israel-
Go America-
Down with pathetic Islam and their violent Muslims who threaten democracy.
And yeah, I saw your quip to try to deny your anti-Semitism, but if you hang a black man from a tree, and then wave your hand and go "Oh some idiot is going to accuse me of racism", that doesn't change the fact that you're a racist hog.
Can always trust in good 'ol fashioned anti-semitic hotheads to make idiots of themselves and thereby guarantee support for Israel.
Keep it on chap, the more you look the fool, the more you help the good guys.
