A Secret to Ageless Beauty

Malina Debrie
Women age much quicker than men. We have so much going on that is constant on our minds that we lives our lives at maximum speed daily. From the age of twenty, females begin to age drastically. If we are not careful and well aware of daily beauty habits, we can appear years older than our biological age. The signs of life show in a woman's face causing us to look older than we are. However, there are beauty secrets that will keep us looking beautiful without plastering a lot of makeup on our faces.

Women are discovering unique ways to remove the daily signs of aging that decrease our beauty and increase the lines on our faces. There are numerous beauty secrets that seem to make some women appear much younger than they are. There are even beauty secrets that make us look and feel young well into our seventies and some women into their eighties.

Not all of us, in fact very few of us are blessed with genes that defy aging. When you see someone who looks younger or much younger than her biological age, you often wonder what is her secret. Yet many will not disclose their beauty secrets. Sad, but true. Some women feel it is their secret and only theirs so why share it.

A few years ago, I met a cousin of mine. It was hard to believe she was in her seventies. She was gorgeous. Even though I am told I look younger than I am, I felt so disheartened when I looked at this gorgeous woman. Her secret she said was in a low stress life. Whether that was true or not, most of us today have very high stress lives. We are moving at rapid speed from the minute we arise until well into the night. Even then some of us have jobs that refuse to allow our minds to rest. While sleeping we continue to perform our job related duties.

However, with the proper care and a little known secret you will be able to erase years from your face. The little known secret to ageless beauty is lightening the area below and around the eyes. Some of us do this by using concealer. However, concealer is very heavy and can appear well defined and obvious when used around the eyes.

The very best way to lighten the area around your eyes without surgery or purchasing costly treatments is to use a lighter shade of makeup around the eyes. For example, if your regular makeup color is a tan, use a shade lighter tan or a beige around the eyes. Pat the makeup in place and then blend gently using a cotton ball or a makeup sponge. Make sure the lighter makeup is well blended into the regular makeup so anyone looking closely cannot tell where one makeup begins and the other ends.

By lightening the area underneath your eyes, you can reduce the appearance of age by five, ten or even fifteen years depending on how dark you were. Take a look at a before and after here and here to see just how different one looks with a little lightening makeup added.

You know, Malina - because of the nature of the material, I was going to skip this piece. But when I visited your site - and saw how youthful you look - and read the teaser to this article, well you just made me want to find out more. Nice.
