Drink More Water
It is possible to go through an entire day without drinking any water. Drinking tea, coffee, and sodas may be one habit that is causing dehydration. Drinking drinks with caffeine exclusively can dehydrate the body. Not counterbalancing the caffeine intake with clean water may cause the skin to become dry. A dehydrated body may not repair itself as deeply during sleep. Pour small glasses of water throughout the day to stay hydrated.
Eat Less Sugar
Refined sugar is hidden in many foods and drinks that are consumed on a regular basis. Choosing to use honey, sugar in the raw, stevia, and agave can help cut down on refined sugar consumption. Always read the labels on beverages to find out the amount of sugar and the serving size. One innocent looking bottled drink may contain two beverage servings. Within those two servings there may be forty four grams of sugar. This is equal to ten tablespoons of table sugar.
Alkaline Diet
Choose foods that will change the ph level of the body. Alkaline foods like deep leafy greens, vegetables, and fruits can help slow down the aging process. Blueberries, salmon, spinach, and seasonal produce are non inflammatory choices. Eat more whole foods that are not processed. Instead of processed meats choose fish and organic meats. Avoid eating fast foods and any ingredient that is difficult to pronounce on the ingredient list.
Increase the amount of raw, steamed, and cooked produce that is eaten daily. If produce is not a part of the current diet add one to two servings with each meal and snack. The increase in fiber from the produce will help the body become more regular. Flushing out waste on a regular basis one to three times a day helps to keep the skin clear.
Daily habits can have a lasting effect on the way aging happens. All of us will go through the aging process. Some people appear to age gracefully, while other people show each and every year in their appearance. Use these three tips to stop premature aging.
