How to Look Good Stepping Off the Plane

The first thing that you want to do before you even catch your flight is to plan out your sleeping pattern. What I mean by this is to get plenty of rest the day before. For example, if you are leaving at three in the afternoon the next day, make sure you are well rested today. This way, you can synchronize your sleep time to correspond with your flight. In order to survive long flights you have to prepare. You might want to bring your own pillow on the plane, or ask the flight attendants for some. It will be tough to get a window seat, so in order not to be disturbed by the person next to you, ask them if they need to get up for anything. This will lessen disturbances by them getting up and squeezing past you. I know this always wakes me up. Try to wear, loose comfortable clothing. You want to feel relaxed as possible, so your mind is at ease more. This will also reduce shifting in your seat to get comfortable. Ear pugs can help you fall asleep faster, or if you just some want peace and quiet it can help with that too.

Tired travelers get tired because they are fatigued after sitting so long in flight in one spot. To combat this, your body needs a little energy, namely from food and drink. When you are in the airport or before you get there, you want some energy in your system. Try eating foods full of carbohydrates, proteins, and a little glucose. Fruits are always great to eat, they have energy your body needs and natural sugar. Whole grains are good to eat as well, but you don't want to eat too much of it. Eating a lot of starches can make you sleepy. That's a good thing right? Not necessarily. You don't want to fall asleep right when the person seated beside wakes you up to pass by. Real fruit juices are great as well. Trail mixes are a good source of energy. Dried fruit mixes, cereal, and granola bars are packed with energy and take up very little space when packing them in your carry-on luggage. If you eat salty food though, it will make you thirsty. The flight attendants should be able to provide free drinks like water and juice. Eating the right foods are important to surviving long flights.

If you don't want to sleep or can't sleep on the plane, try to keep your body loose and limber. This helps to keep your body relaxed. The less stress there is on your body, the less tense you will be. To improve appearance after a flight, it is vital to stay a little active. If you read something for an hour, take a break by walking in the aisle a little. Every so often, bend your legs at the knees in the bathroom. Here are some travel beauty tips: Splash cold water on your face. This helps to tighten up the skin on your face so you look less haggard and rundown when you step off the plane. Rest your eyes. There are a lot of bright lights on a plane that can mess with your eyes. Try wearing a cap or a visor to keep your eyes shielded. If your eyes are in the shade, they will work less. This is key to keeping your eyes looking well rested. Massage your temples. This calms your head as well as relieve tension you might have.
