There are certain ways you can save money. One satisfying way is to dress in classic styles. You can buy high quality clothes second hand. Or buy them new at a fraction of the price if you shop smart and wait for the end of season clearance which really happens right in the middle of the season. Lord & Taylor has fabulous markdowns and finding classics is easy. Buying classic clothes never goes out of style and you can look sophisticated without spending a lot of money and your style says you have class. This is much better than looking dated in five years.
Don't let your Weight Fluctuate
Another way is to stay the same size. If you don't fluctuate in weight all the time, you won't have to buy multiple sizes of the same clothing. Assess whether you eat emotionally and learn to cope with decisions without eating too much or starving yourself. I find meditating and spirituality to be a good way to ease your overwhelming emotions and getting your eating in check.
Trading Up.
Another cool way to save is to swap friends for clothes and accessories. Trading an old bag your tired of for a "new" sweater is sure to give satisfaction. We all need to have our shopping urges satisfied a little bit. You'll both have an awesome new "purchase" without breaking the bank.
The Discount Stores
You really can save money at TJ Maxx if you follow the principle of buying classics. No wide lapels or high or low waist clothing here. Or if you just buy something you can see yourself wearing over and over. Or something that makes you look fabulous without the chance of looking dated in 5 years.
The wisdom of the Frugal
Why would we buy used? Because with so much waste and debt, who can afford to waste time worrying about money when we have families and friends to love on and enjoy. I remember going on trips to the air show with my family with greater fondness than any shopping spree. Sometimes, you might want to splurge on a good deal, or help a friend of child.
Pursue Your Dreams
Maybe you want to be an artist or a writer and you need all the money to pursue your dream. Your working a menial job while your working on your craft waiting for your big break. We all need a little discipline. You don't have to worry about money so much if you save as much as you can. I always wanted to be a writer and an artist. I write for associated content while I pursue my resume writing business. You too can pursue your dreams if you just think of ways it can help others.
