Stay Hydrated
Keeping hydrated will keep your skin supple, moisturized, and glowing. Water helps you in countless ways, so by drinking the standard 8 glasses a day, you'll stay healthy while looking your best.
It's easy to work water into your daily routine- find a re-usable water bottle and keep it filled for use at home, work, and the gym. Keep in mind that 4 16-ounce bottles of water equal 8 glasses.
Additionally, if you replace the soda and alcohol you normally drink with water, you'll be removing a lot of excess sugar from your diet, which is a proven cause of physical aging.
Moisturize
Keeping your skin hydrated with lotion will keep you looking young and will preserve your healthy glow. Have a bottle of facial moisturizer and a bottle of body lotion handy for after showers and during dry weather to avoid dry skin.
Dove, Eucerin, and Olay all make wonderful face and body lotions tailored to your skin type. You can find these at your local drugstore or department store. Costs range from cheap to extravagant, so be sure to research the best deals before you buy.
Eat Well
Your eating habits do, in fact, reflect on your looks. The more fresh fruit and vegetables you eat, the healthier you'll be and the younger you'll look. If you find yourself at McDonald's every day, remember that when it comes to your looks, you are what you eat.
Keeping a food diary or mentally counting your calories can help you stay with your food goals. If you're looking to lose weight by eating more healthfully, Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, and LA Weight Loss all offer popular and affordable weight-loss plans.
Be Happy
By letting go of worries in your life, your new, friendlier attitude will lighten up your looks and will give you a much younger smile and affect. By seeming more accessible to friends, family, and acquaintances, you'll keep people from ever thinking of you as "that grumpy old fogy".
To become happier, try meditation, get a new hobby, or join a club. Volunteering is another great way to put a smile on your face. Check out VolunteerMatch.org to find opportunities near you.
Exercise
By staying active and getting at least half an hour of physical activity each day, you'll reverse time's toll in your body inside and out. Get an exercise buddy, join a gym, or buy a treadmill for your home.
To motivate yourself to exercise more, design a non-food rewards program. For example, if you meet your goals for a month, give yourself a day of shopping or go out for a movie night with your best friend.
In this day and age where beauty and youth are so important, it's good to know that you have non-surgical options to discovering a younger, more healthy you. I hope you've found these tips helpful, and good luck on your journey towards youth and timeless beauty.

Post a CommentI find what you wrote very pragmatic and very compelling the rather simple steps in achieving a more youthful appearance. Agree with most of them except be happy one. I'm not a grouch. I do believe in happiness.
Its just that giving up worry may not be so easy for some people with anxiety disorders.
I think there are two ways to look younger.. To have young looking or pedomorphic features. For example a small upturned nose, cupid bow lips. Decrease wrinkles. Thats where moisterurizers as you wrote, come in.
