2. Eat a well balanced diet. Here's a daily percentage breakdown for all meals: 40% protein, carbohydrates 40%, fat 20%. Each meal should consist of one lean source of protein, one serving of complex carbohydrates, and two servings of vegetables and fruit.
3. Keep meals small and frequent. You should consume 5-6 small meals per day which will help boost your metabolism. A small meal should be able to fit into the palm of your two hands when they're cupped together.
4. Exercise daily. They idea is to burn calories and boost your metabolism. Do the exercise that fits with your current routine such as weight lifting, daily cardio workouts, or walking 30-45 minutes per day.
5. Resist your cravings. Stay hydrated and curb your cravings by drinking 2-4 liters of water a day. When you feel hungry and are thinking of eating a snack you can try chewing gum or brushing your teeth. If your food cravings becoming to powerful, you can eat one of your 5-6 meals at this time and space the rest of the meals just a little bit further apart the help you get through the day.
