Set weight loss goals and write them down. You can even place your written goals in strategic areas like the kitchen and dining area.
Start cutting down on your alcohol intake. Alcohol has many calories. Not only that, but alcohol can make crave more food.
Don't skip breakfast. Eating breakfast makes you less likely to overeat during the afternoon and evening.
Try eating slower. The slower you eat, the less you eat.
Don't forget to drink water. Water helps you feel full.
Eat more vegetables and fruit. While being low in calories, vegetables and fruit help keep your appetite down. Also, if you need to snack, grab an apple or mango instead of a candy bar or chips.
Work out. Even 20-30 minutes a day for three days a week can make a difference. Exercising is the key to reducing your body fat. Dieting without exercising doesn't effectively target your love handles. If you're not sure what to do, just start walking at your local park or hit the treadmill at your local gym.
Prepare your food differently. Eat less fried and roasted food. Instead, grill and boil your food.
Keep a food diary including what you feel when you eat. By also tracking your emotions, you'll realize the circumstances and patterns in your life that cause you to overeat or eat unhealthy foods.
The most important thing is not to eat out of emotion but out of true hunger. You body knows when it needs food. Don't eat unless you feel hungry. You know how it feels to be stuffed. Stop eating before that point.
On a related note, watch your stress level. The stress of planning a wedding makes it harder to lose weight. Therefore, seek ways to reduce wedding planning stress. Here's some ways to reduce your stress: get your relatives to help you plan the wedding, buy a wedding planning book, hire a good wedding planner, and get organized with wedding planning worksheets or wedding planning software.
On the week of your wedding, decrease your salt intake and drink more water. This will prevent water weight and you'll feel your best in your dress.
Also, continue to following these tips and you'll be able to keep your weight down after the wedding.
